Eve Reilly is a conservative radio talk show host who never minds talking about controversial topics, and she’s ticked off lots of people in the course of her career. But this time, someone’s doing more than talking back. When a mysterious package is dropped off on her doorstep, it’s time to call in the police.

Rookie detective Detective Brent Lange is assigned the case and he’s determined to keep Eve safe as he tries to figure out who is targeting her. His job is made harder by Eve’s determination to stay on the air and keep stating her opinions.

The attraction between Eve and Brent is palpable and well developed, with some obstacles to overcome if their relationship is to grow.

Irene Hannon weaves a suspenseful tale, with enough clues, suspects and twists and turns to keep the tension ratcheting higher as Eve and Brent try to connect the dots before the killer succeeds in silencing Eve for good.

I look forward to the next in this series by this talented author.
