As always, the author takes you right to the Regency period in London with historic figures, events and discoveries interspersed in the writing. It is a delight to visit Charlotte, Wrexford and the Weasels on their newest adventure.

This time, they’re investigating the murder of a fellow of the Royal Society…did the man who was arrested commit the crime or was he falsely accused? Our group is hot on the trail to figure it all out, even as a killer is stalking them. It appears the murder may just be a part of a larger, more nefarious plot with international implications.

There’s also a secret from the past that will directly affect Wrex and Charlotte’s family going forward.

A great novel to grab when you have some time to read because you won’t want to put it down after only a chapter or two!
