When tragedy tears their family apart, Sarah and Hez Webster, go their separate ways. He dives into the bottle and she returns to Tupelo Grove University founded by her family over a century earlier.

Then one day, Hez shows up in her classroom, looking for a second chance. Sarah’s immediate reaction is to refuse, but within a day she’s under suspicion of murder and since he’s the very best lawyer Sarah knows, she can use her husband’s legal expertise.

As they investigate, buried secrets come to the surface. Is the murder tied to the someone who is selling off the university’s pre-Colombian artifacts? Their only chance is to work together on proving Sarah’s innocence and staying alive long enough to accomplish that.

The authors have created a community with plenty of suspects, some twists and turns and a satisfying ending. I look forward to the next installment of the Tupelo Grove series.
