It’s 1927 and the newly married Jane Wunderly and Redvers are in Ootycamund, India on assignment. There is plenty of intrigue in Ooty from affairs to political machinations to a growing anti-colonial resistance.

And when a death occurs, Jane is pulled into the investigation because she’s suspicious that it’s murder. And that can only ramp up existing tensions. But will the unknown killer prove more dangerous than a tiger roaming around the town?

There is plenty of intrigue, but there were areas that felt quite repetitious. This was not my favourite read of one of my favourite authors, but still worth the time curled up with the latest Jane Wunderly mystery.
