Norah Asquith is doing her best to get family home Ravensea Castle up and running as a bed and breakfast. Hilda Dibble has opposed Norah at every turn, but the day has finally come to welcome the castle’s first guests.
Then Hilda is found murdered in Norah’s herb garden…and suspicion falls on Norah, given the two women’s antagonism over the past months.

Norah and her actress sister Tamsyn decide to investigate for themselves, even though one of their guests is the new local Detective Inspector Finlay Cole. They have strangers staying in the castle and are any of them up to no good? Could one of them be responsible for Hilda’s murder? And how does the castle ghost, Sir Percival, factor into the events?
The author lays out plenty of suspects and there are twists and turns to keep Norah—and the reader—working to figure out who is trustworthy, who is a danger and will the killer strike again?
