PI Sarah Booth Delaney and crew are back to solve another mystery in this next in the popular series. They’re attending a Christmas rock and roll festival at the annual Elvis Festival in Tupelo. There are plenty of Elvis impersonators in town to compete for top honours in the impersonator competition.
But a replica of a belt once worn by Elvis is stolen from its display case before things even get rocking or rolling. Who took the jewel-encrusted belt and why? Sarah Booth and Tinkie are searching for suspects and answers. Trouble is…there is a veritable crowd of people who have a gripe with the owner of the belt.

The author has created a real community of characters with plenty of quirks of their own who do also encounter some odd situations. This combination is very satisfying for fans of the series.
For me, the paranormal appearances of Jitty feel shoehorned in and I’m not sure for what effect the author does this. I’d enjoy it as much or more without it.
